Season Summary

A very successful season for the club with 6 out of the 9 league teams promoted, 2 of which as champions!

Mens 1sts and 2nds will be somewhat unhappy that they didn't finish the season as champions, but promotion was always the 1st objective. There will be high hopes for the ladies 1sts and 3rds next season, as they did very well in a consolidation year.

The club is moving from strength to strength, with the number of players at the club growing rapidly. Next season, the ladies 5ths will be entered into the Stockport league, and a mens friendly 6th team will compete on a Sunday to involve those players not able to play on the Saturday for the league sides.

Exciting times ahead at Didsbury Northern.
