An impressive start led to an early goal for the Men’s 4s. After said climax, a period of extreme drowsiness followed.

Awoken by the umpires whistle blowing for half time, the 4s were disappointed to find out that they had conceded 2 goals on the counter attack resulting in a 2-1 deficit going into halftime.

After an inspirational half time talk (*expletive riddled rant from Grim, during which packs Haribo were hurled along with insults and questions about player’s parentage) we went into the second half with a better attitude.

Our change of defensive press confounded the opposition and we stopped crashing diagonal balls into the D, preferring to utilise the Dutch ball from the base line.

The goals flowed freely, from Matty Taylor, Grim and Robin. Even Dunny got in on the act, tapping over the line from close range after a tremendous strike from Robin.

Final score 6-2, the 4s remain top of the league!
