Come rain or shine

In typical fashion, the heavens were opened up and rain pouring down. Magically, just as the 5s arrived to the pitch, the rain subsided and even gave us a glimpse of blue. Obviously, this was to welcome Captain Ash, with his halftime Haribo in hand. The match was controlled by Didsbury in the first half, with the opening goal coming from what could only be described as a perfectly executed short corner from Aaron, David and John. As the first half wound down, the opposition scored a goal from a glitch in defense, leaving the match level at half. But Trystan would have none of it, scoring in the 2nd half from the pass from Aiden. But it wouldn't be a match with Bolton without drama, with an incidental head tap by the Bolton offense and subsequent yelling by DoD Adam, followed shorlty thereafter by similar antics on the opposing end. After the pitch was cleared of grown man tears by the sudden onset of rain, the clock ran down just in time for Didsbury to clench the 2-1 win. Without Olly's heroic midfield performance, it would not have been possible, earning him the MoM.
