Men's Recruitment 2025/26

We have 8 men’s teams, and operate a Performance Squad across our Men’s 1st and 2nd teams.

Our Men’s 1st team had a great season in 2024/25. After ‘Humpty’s Invincibles’ had won the double in 2023/24, winning both the North West Premier Division and the Lancashire Cup, our team really stepped up and gave it their all finishing 4th in National Conference North last season.

Now, as we’re gearing up for another National League campaign, we’re on the lookout for new players who can join our squad and help us take our game to the next level. If you’re interested in being part of this exciting project under the expert tutelage of player/coach and former Welsh international, then please contact Alex Humphreys.

Our Men’s 2nd team are also doing great things. They were promoted to the North West Premier Division last season after an excellent 2024/25. They’re looking to strengthen their squad before the league starts, so if you’re keen to be involved, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Men’s 2nd team captain, Simon Rome.

We’ve got eight men’s teams, so we can cater to players of all skill levels. We’re particularly keen to recruit beginners, improvers, and juniors who are ready to take the next step and join our senior ranks.

We’re also here to support the next generation of enthusiastic youngsters as they embark on their hockey journey and were proud that last season we had home grown juniors regularly playing in each of our teams from beginners right up to National League standard.

Ladies' Recruitment 2025/26

The Ladies' 1st team have firmly established themselves as a National League team in recent seasons in the Vitality Women's Hockey League Conference North.

Our other six Ladies' teams play in the North West Hockey Leagues and there are opportunities at all levels from our Ladies' 2nd team in North West Division 1 to our 7th team who can offer a more social level of hockey.
